In the final match between Chitral-A and Gilgit-A teams, Chitral repeated its past performances by beating Gilgit 10 goals to 2 to clinch the Shundur trophy yet again. Shehzad Ahmad of Chitral team was declared ‘Man of the Match’. Chitral Captain Shahzada Sikander Ul Mulk played a captain’s knock again this year by scoring 5 goals out of the 10 the team scored. Provincial Minister for population welfare Salim Khan was chief guest on the occasion, while IGFC,MPA Chitral,Dist Nazim, were amongst the large number of polo fans who were present on the occasion.
